KP SERIES RAIL MOUNTED CARGO PLATFORMS
The KP series electric rail mounted loading platform, also called rail trolley, transfer trolley, mobile conveyors, etc., is a factory electric vehicle with simple structure, dirt and shock resistance, easy maintenance and long service life. Due to their advantages, these platforms have become the main means of transport in factories and plants for the frequent transportation of heavy items over short distances.
Rail-mounted cargo platforms of the KP series have a low coefficient of friction between steel wheels and rails, therefore they use an electric drive with low power, capable of moving and rotating heavy loads.

A step-down transformer is installed in front of the track, which reduces the 380V (1-phase or 3-phase line) entering it to 36V, then the 36V is fed directly to the rails, there is a step-up transformer on the cargo platform that converts the 36V and receives 380V at the output. Since the rails, in addition to moving, are also used to supply current, therefore, there must be good insulation between the rails, between the wheels and the body of the loading platform, for this, a special technology is used during the laying of the rail.
